I came across this jem of a blog/website browing tumblr.com one day. Its called Hipster or gay, and asks you to asnwer that question. Hahahaha, all i can do is laugh when i see any picture on it. To me it seems like in 80% of the pictures the guys are gay.

So since i listen to way too much music and people always ask me what is new and good these days i thought i should start an Doinwork.com affiliated music blog. I call it DOIN’ MUSIC! Right now there are only a few post but i will be upadating it daily so make sure to check it regularily for some serious fire.

I found this site randomly one day and was pretty impressed with it. Basically you just upload a “summer mix” to the site and its displayed with a bunch of other artists mixes. I uploaded my wizard stick mix to it. Check it out. Edit: yes i forgot to put links in before, but they are there now. 

I have know about muxtape.com for a while now but never really put up any music on it. Since i finally finished My illustration for my new GoldFrontRecords mixtape i thought i would put the songs from the mix up on muxtape.com, so that people can listen to them individually if they want. In this fast paced world we live in it seems that nothing stays cool or alt for long. Ironic Glasses with no lenses, high top kicks, american appy, scarves, beards, skinny jeans, jeremy scott, ed banger have all trickled into down to the mainstream dudes overzealous teens and high school girls. It seems that everytime some alt discovers some new thing to wear/do/say/eat/go the teens and dude bros steal it right out from under them. This is why I propose the Alts fight back and in turn begin to steal stuff from the mainstreamers. It would not only be extreme hilarity, but it would also teach people a lesson about not stealing.Ways for an ALT to infultrate mainstream culture:

- Begin to listen to pop music; The Jonas Brothers are a good start, and go to concerts at large venues. However in order to keep your alt appeal make sure to just stand and judge.

- Go on shows like “Keys to the VIP” and refuse to get anyones number. Instead take over DJing at the club (This club will most likely be named TONIC and/or LIQUID)

- Begin going to Tim Hortons instead of Starbucks or other high end coffee establishments. However continue to use the high end coffee lingo (tall, grande, venti, foam, soy etc.) and order things that Tim Hortons would never sell.

- Get a 9-5 job but be terrible at it, and come in wearing the most ridiculous outfits you can muster.

- Start to watch team sports, however make sure you always cheer for the more fashionable team and never know anything specific about what is going on, you may also want to yell at inappropriate times when nothing has really occured (Note: this may work better when with a group of people or at a random sports bar)

- and finally to really kick them where it hurts begin to randomly and often drink Jagger bombs, not as a shot, but as a drink you sip…..preferably out of a mug.

Pretty much wizard sticks are the most legit things ever. They have so many amazing functions. They can show everyone what level your wizard status is at. They can be used to help support yourself when you are hammered from creating a wizard stick. you can use them as short distance phones. The uses are endless, and recently on Epiclylaterd.com i saw some great wizard stick pictures. Fuck their wizard statuses are of epic proportions! Go check it out.

Hot on the heels of my last post i will continue on the thread of music videos. The song “W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E ” by Wale is just generally a sick song. I remember hearing it a year and a half ago or something, back when no one knew who justice was and i was blown away. It was actually the first song i ever used on my very first mix on goldfrontrecords.com . To this day i still think the song is sick and still sounds great. I was pumped to recently learn that Wale made a video for this song. Its made along the same lines as the D.A.N.C.E video but with some Wale flair.
