I found this site randomly one day and was pretty impressed with it. Basically you just upload a “summer mix” to the site and its displayed with a bunch of other artists mixes. I uploaded my wizard stick mix to it. Check it out. Edit: yes i forgot to put links in before, but they are there now.
I have know about muxtape.com for a while now but never really put up any music on it. Since i finally finished My illustration for my new GoldFrontRecords mixtape i thought i would put the songs from the mix up on muxtape.com, so that people can listen to them individually if they want. An interesting thing happened to me recently. I am out here in Arizona and I couldn’t fit my skateboard in my luggage so I decided to cop one while I was down here. I went to the store picked out a ripe flip deck but when they went to grip it I was informed that all they had was neon orange griptape. So now I have a board with orange griptape. While some may think oooh that sounds nice how nu rave of you, in skateboarding it is not a positive infact it is a major negative.It would be similar to going into a staples and being like “yo homie i need a tight 3 ring binder for my notes” and his response would be something like “yeah we have what you need but the only cover we have has a picture of a dick on it.” So now you are walking around school with a nice functional binder but it has a dick on it. All the bullies on campus are all like “hey dick kid” or “eat a binder of dicks” or “eat a pre bagged binder of dicks.” Now, no matter how ill you do on your exams, no matter how steezy you pencil flick is you will be known as the guy with the dick binder. So now I will shamefully ride my orange deck until I get home, promptly focus it and proceed to buy a fresh plan B Ryan Sheckler pro model.

Considering Nu Rave is a Passe fad and this dog doesn’t know what the fuck is going on, his owner definately abuses this poor, yet fucking awesome dog. Hiding E in dog food and taking her ninja turtle dog to all ages clubs trying to pick up 16 year old ravers just makes you STRUGGLIN’. Hopefully she gets booked for pedaflia or better yet dies on the way to a club by a drunk underaged driver so her dog can run free and become the 5th member of the ninja turtles or start a Folkno group.
It would be so fucking easy to hate on this kid.
But, this dude is ballsy enough to do all that and then take photos of himself on a webcam. Then, take the photos, put them together, then write that message on it. Read that fucking message. That shit is tight. He even used the stars! And the wave hyphen things! And used a number instead of a word! …In pink!
Then (and this is the best part), this kid submitted his photo to a website that gives away raver kits to potential ravers. Actually. Check this out if you don’t believe me. Guard your soul… they’ll get-cha. I’d bet you anything that this kid’s face is on the side of a milk carton somewhere right now.
If that’s not Doin’ Work, I don’t know what is.
